Sex heals 13% of men and 7% of women

We all know that sex is important in many ways. That it can be useful in many ways is also well known. However, it turns out that for a fairly large group of men and women, regular sex can have a pronounced healing effect. This group includes people diagnosed with kidney stones, according to a new study.

They are advised to have sex at least 2 times a week as a palliative to facilitate the removal of kidney stones and maintain urinary tract health.

Official statistics show that worldwide about 13% of men and 7% of women have kidney stones and can benefit from this recommendation, ie. It is quite practical to combine business with pleasure.

Establishing the positive impact of regular sex on the health of the urinary system is the result of many years of research. The latest data on this comes from Turkey, where a study was conducted at the beginning of the year among almost 100 men with kidney stones. They are divided into 2 groups. The first group is treated with standard drugs for this type of kidney problem, while the second group includes the recommendation of regular sex. And the positive results in the second group just two weeks after treatment were completely unexpected even for the treatment team.

It has been established that regular sex contributes to an easier discharge of peripherally located kidney stones up to 6 mm in size. A positive effect was observed in 75% of men and women who had sex at least 2-3 times a week during the study.

The appearance of this effect has a purely scientific explanation. According to scientists, the relaxing effect of sexual orgasm on the muscles of the urinary tract greatly facilitates the passage of stones and their removal from the body. In comparison, a positive effect was observed in 50% of persons from the second group treated with drugs to facilitate the removal of stones from the kidneys.

The results of the study were published in the authoritative journal Urology, stating that they are equally valid for both sexes. This once again proves the multifaceted role of sex on both our emotional and physical state, and reveals another of its benefits.
